Hardening & Tempering

Hardening & Tempering – Improving the hardness, mechanical properties of steel components depending on the alloy content in the steel. This is done by heating the job to a pre-determined temperature and soaking followed by quenching in air, water, oil or polymer. Hardening is always followed by Tempering.
