Subzero

This process is employed to improve the microstructure after Hardening /Case hardening process by transforming the undesirable constituents in the material crystal matrix, there by rendering the the component with higher strength, hardness and dimensional stability.We have facility for deep freezing of all the sizes that we handle.

Subzero - Components are subject to subzero treatment to improve the structure and hardness thereby rendering the component with higher strength, hardness and dimensional stability.

How it works

Heat treated parts are cooled in a chamber to - 80 degrees and soaked for adequate duration.This converts the retained austenite in to martensite there by improving hardness and dimensional stability for later.
